As a photographer, I often shoot family sessions outdoors, weddings, and children. But I also love when I get the chance to shoot lifestyle portraits. There are so many reasons to book a lifestyle portrait session. From welcoming home a new baby to getting together for a family reunion, lifestyle portraits are a way to capture memories and share them for years to come.
Portraits at Home
Often, clients choose to have their lifestyle portraits done at home. This is especially the case for families with newborns. Having the portraits done at home is a beautiful way to celebrate your growing family. It also can make little ones feel more comfortable since all their favorite things are nearby. I love capturing family portraits in the nursery or bedroom, with cozy blankets and treasured toys.
If your a couple that has a furr baby instead, don't worry I love to capture those moments as well. Whether you're dancing in the living room, taste testing in the kitchen, sitting on your front porch having coffee; I will capture those candid moments that you will look back on and cherish.
